We’ve been sold a dud, led astray if you may by philosophers, psychologists and prophets. Teachings have told us that body is unimportant, yes it’s important to stay healthy and fit, but mind is the king and body the lesser queen or perhaps the sckully maid.

I’ve recently stepped back into the work arena from a fully embodied “yes,” and it feels wonderful. I have been waiting for something to appear for what feels like an eternity and my inner guidance has been to wait.
Child’s play is like chicken soup for the soul
Time out with children is like chicken soup for the soul right now. Everyday my daughter makes me laugh, smile and wonder at her ability to see everything as an opportunity. When I slow down, connect and see the world through her eyes, I see so much beauty and playfulness.
Give yourself permission to feel your feelings without judgement
Today, I celebrated myself. I was able to feel stressed and anxious while also being aware of an outpouring of love. My daughter became sick very quickly and the strength of love in my heart and witnessing the love from my parents towards us, opened my heart. I cried tears of love – it was a moment of recollection, of deep gratitude, of coming home to myself and the truth about how loved we are.

The link between an open heart and joy is direct. If you try to close your heart, you will diminish, stagnate, reduce or block the joy that exists in every moment of your daily life.
How being gentle inspires creativity in the workplace
As part of an exercise we were running recently that opened employees to the different positions of leadership, the CEO of a major multinational company said these words to his team, “be gentle.”
